you know sometimes we can't judge a book by its cover. take for example, today i went to raffles hotel for my school's 20th anniversary. RAFFLES HOTEL !! some may go gaga over it. like how high class it is. however, jubilee hall was very small (okay, to some it may be okay) but if you were to compare it with university cultural centre (ucc) I CAN SAFELY SAY THAT jubilee hall is one-third of the size. also the waiting area is not even air-conditioned and it's again smaller than ucc. everything was ultra small la, even the washrooms. they tried to make it more glum by painting it gold. =/

the concert was quite entertaining prolly because the drama club enlightened the entire hall? other than that, there were very little events or rather they were very plain... and i started to feel restless halfway through the concert. serious, you can't compare it with my sister's school (nan hua high school). it's still not up to that standard yet. emcee is a teacher for my school, while my sister's school it's students and i tell you their english and chinese are like very fluent. much better than my school. pffft, didn't turned out what i expected. also, some people spoiled the atmosphere. that's the reason why i don't like to go out with my friends. hahaha ! (no offence)

i rate 6/10 .

for really nice concert, you should look at other better schools. that's how you know about all these stuffs yes? even scgs audithorium is slightly larger. ha! i should have save mummy's 8 bucks and listen to countdowns instead. it so didn't rock the hall at all. :c

i suppose that's all for now and i realise i really have to curb my temper nowadays because its making some people really pissed off and that's the last thing i would want. :(

it doesn't matter how you fall in,
it only matters why you fall out.

just got home from ngee ann poly... forget about electric engineering, i threw the paper away the moment i reached home.

(pictures courtesy from weesheng)

the waiting room? they took all the chairs away and we have to take a STAND instead. janice is somewhere in the room, try spotting.

look at the machines, bloody hell don't even know what the lecturers were talking about. it's darn complicated fixing all the wires here and there. instead of paying attention....

we played with the wires ! hahaha.

as you can see im obviously PLAYING WITH THE SMALL LITTLE LIGHT BULB! hahaha, im bored to tears, i tell you. and the room's windows are transparent, it's rather obvious some people tried hanky panky-ing.

eugenia is always the first to get the refreshments. hoho, typical singaporeans la. SNATCH SNATCH SNATCH, never want to be at the losing end.

childhood memories are precious! we played freeze and melt, catching and that jump three steps to kill your opponent game while waiting for the bus. also i didn't know weesheng took this picture!

i love to town because
i get to see many different type of people.
aliens? UFOs?
hahaha... nah!

mango is currently having
GREAT SINGAPORE SALE.
50% off on every item.
it's MADNESS, INSANE.
clothes were everywhere plus it was very messy.
many people bought bags and bags of clothes
eventually it still adds up to the normal price right?
aye, typical singaporean.

yesterday, my sister and i went in (came out empty handed)
and we almost got suffocated.
they turned off the aircons and it's really CROWDED!
there are two bodyguards too! just see it for yourself.
ohmygoodness.

far east shops are super weird.
because they have ultra small shop and fitting rooms
with so many people inside.
i have to say EXCUSE ME upteen times to make my way through.
the funny thing is my sister made alot of 'BANG' noises in the fitting room
and there's this guy in the shop who kept staring at me
because i was haha-ing to myself !
kinda pity that guy though,
his girlfriend took such a long time in the fitting room
and poor him have to stand there like a BEEP.
nonetheless, i entertained him.
hahaha !

on our way back in the MRT, we saw this aunty carrying her handbag.
something very special about this bag is that the zip is ULTRA HUGE.
serious! it's very big like 10 times the normal size.
again, i can't stop haha-ing.
whenever i turned to look at her bag i start to laugh
and she will stare at me.
aunty you are oh-so-pretty that's why i can't take my eyes off you.
:/

you write such pretty words
but life's no storybook .

the other time i saw my daddy cracking his brains...
not on his work BUT
because he didn't know to bet on which team.
studying the score boards and the strength of each team
for like very long
still can't come up with an answer.
so, i think world cup should come up with
their own TEN YEARS SERIES too.
it will make those people placing their bets a much easier job right?
hahaha!

ALSO I THINK GERMANY'S COACH IS SUPER FIT.
NICE BODY AND FACE.
unlike other countries.

yesterday's SD concert was AWESOME!
nanyang's dancers simply rocked the entire hall
the girls are super hot, and the guys... i tell you
can't stop drooling.
now, BUTTONS is a famous song for dancing
how cool !!

met alot of people too!
JAYMIE, XUE LIAN, KAI XIAN, TAKERU, KENNETH !
takeru is super funny la,
during the concert he kept looking at our direction
like every now and then.
and i was wondering who is that orange tee guy who doesn't want to watch the concert.
when my sister and i turned to look,
he waved at us.
very funny, please.
teehee :D

oh yeah, at the end of the concert
there's this life band called ' translation' and...
the vocalist cum gurtarist is super cute !
i think he's eurasian.
no wonder he stands out from the rest.
oh my goodness, i looooooooveeeeeeeee!!!!
plus, the MCs are humorous?
hahaha!

*********
happy fathers' day !

couldn't you believe that everything i said
and did wasn't just deceiving?

Thursday, June 15, 2006 @ 8:33 PM

anyway, this was what i did today...
  • 15 minutes of track running
  • 15 minutes of cycling
  • 5 minutes of lifting dumbells
  • 10 minutes of brisk-walking-machine thing
  • 2 sets of sit-ups (20 counts each)
  • 5 minutes of leg lifting
  • 2 sets of leg-pushing thing (20 counts each)
  • 2 sets of arm-exercise machine (20 counts each)

and my whole body is aching. if you still can't figure out where i went, let me tell you... I JUST WENT TO THE GYM. haha, bloody hell first time using their equipments. so, you should know la, im darn boh-doh. like the doh-doh bird (dodo). and you know something? these machines can do wonders. they motivated me to co-operate with them. unlike NAPHA, whenever i do sit-ups, i cheat. erhhahahohowee!

oh and i just found some pictures in my folder. took it while they came my house to do homework. future prisoners - of - war. choy!

just for laugh :D
(courtesy from daddy)

outside a manila hotel, a japanese tourist gets in a cab and tells the driver to drive him to the airport.

on their way, a car zooms past them and the japanese goes:
"Aaah, toyota, made in japan very fast!"

then another car zips by and the japanese says:
"Aaah nissan, made in japan, very fast!"

and another,
"Aaah mitsubishi. made in japan, very fast!"

the taxi driver is getting tired of this. when they reach the airport, he tells his passengers:
"400 pesos, please."

the japanese goes:
"400 pesos? it's not that far from the hotel!"

the taxi driver says:
"Aaah taxi meter, made in japan, very fast!"

o6/o6/o6

hello world,

MY DADDY IS COOL he has a blog. does your daddy do that? i can safely say YOURS DOESN'T. therefore: i can say that i have a rare computer-savvy daddy who's stuck in between being over-bearing, weird and old-fashioned. i make him sound a little jumbled up here. haha.

yes, CIP was very tiring. we had to do shelving and by the end of three hours, i suffered a really bad headache. all those small little letters and how we should arrange it was horrible. the most infuriating thing was that when we arranged it neatly, minutes later it's messy again. oh, never EVER be a librarian next time. hahaha!

rushed home and headed down to singapore chinese girls' school for my sister's concert. however, this time round we did not have to be an early birds getting the good seats. because our seats have already been reserved! hell yeah, like some VIPs. the entire auditorium was fully packed and the concert was great!

bukit batok secondary is currently having their 20th anniversary at the school's carpark and i was wondering isn't our school much more fortunate? 20th anniversary at raffles hotel (jubilee hall) !

how long can a liar survive before
she runs out of lies.

Friday, June 02, 2006 @ 1:08 PM

you know when i was in singapore poly yesterday, i found out one common thing among the students...

they are always seen messaging their friends/bf/gf or waiting for messages. like, every now and then i will spot at least three or more among me. i mean, they gave me an impression that handphones are like the other half of them. cannot live without it, like i can't live without oxygen. hah! and yes, utterly rude when one is messaging while someone is talking or trying to get our attention.

and the funniest thing is, it's always the girls who does that. either messaging to their friends or BOYfriend or the worst case scenario, 'acting' like you are so darn popular -smsing . yeah, i know most of them falls under the second option. what do you call that? SMS FLIRT? oh-so-gross.

so the question i have been pondering on was, how did they survive when handphone wasn't invented. hmm...
